An Entertainment Lawyer, Concert Presenter and Record Label Executive, Arnold has over 30 years in the music and jazz world.
After successfully producing a syndicated weekly jazz music radio show called ‘JAZZ INSPIRATION RADIO’ in the early 90s; appearing as a regular interviewer and guest judge for events and jazz competitions on BET-TV; creating ‘JAZZ INSPIRATION RECORDS,’ Canada’s #2 jazz label, in 1991; producing over 35 records for Universal Music from 1991-2001; and acting as Consultant in establishing and marketing the jazz festivals in Montreal, Toronto and Toronto’s Beaches, ‘JAZZ ON THE MOUNTAIN’ is the latest in Arnolds string of jazz and music accomplishments.
Beginning with ‘JAZZ ON THE MOUNTAIN AT WHISTLER’ in 2011 ‘JAZZ ON THE MOUNTAIN AT BLUE,’ at Blue Mountain in Southern Ontario, is now in its fourth year with Arnold at the helm.
President of Metalworks Production Group and owner of Band World Mobile Stage, Ontario’s largest private mobile stage fleet.
A 30 year veteran of the music industry, Bob grew up as both a professional musician and a producer of shows. Having produced 24 overseas and Canadian military shows entertaining our troops in Bosnia, Cyprus, Egypt, Germany, Cambodia and even remote bases in Canada’s high Arctic, Bob remains a dedicated partner on the Jazz on the mountain team
Patricia has a background in event planning and management from recognized Ontario colleges George Brown and Conestoga.
With a passion for music and naturally driven, Patricia is now entering her third year with JAZZ ON THE MOUNTAIN AT BLUE and you can catch her dipping into every area of the Festival.
When not at her day job, Patricia spends her time managing a local reggae band (The Steady Rebels), checking out new music, and spending quality time with friends, family, and her collection of animals
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager at BD (Becton Dickinson) from 1991 to 2015, Dave’s global team oversaw Category Spends of 30 to 60 million dollars where he personally exceeded Annual Saving Goals of one to two million dollars per year.
Always a musician Dave performed regularly to keep sane and then somewhat insanely jumped into the festival business with his wife Patti. From 1998 to the present he’s overseen various festival portfolios including: logistics, security, vendors, signage, site management, sponsor fulfillment and licensed areas at festivals and events such as The Mississauga Waterfront Festival, Big Music Fest, Sing The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival, BackFortMac Concert and Mississauga ITALFEST. A recipient of The Queens Golden Jubilee Medal he’s known for his volunteer work including being a jovial 6’4 Santa for various charities.
Dave’s enjoying his time at Jazz On Festivals and looks forward to hearing some great music.
Patti’s career started as a teen actress in the Canadian production of the Las Vegas and LA theater version of Jesus Christ Superstar with mentor Victor Garber as Jesus. She’s performed across Canada and the US, Europe and Asia; highlights include releasing three albums, 2 Much Music videos and starring in her own CTV national special “A Family Christmas”.
Patti co-wrote and toured with legendary Bo Diddley and received a Diamond Record for her original Much Music Dance hit “Tell Me You Love Me”. A Juno Award nominee, recipient of a Queens Golden Jubilee Medal, the Laurie Pallett Patron of the Arts Award and the Canadian Recording Legacy Award, she’s also a founding director of the Mississauga Waterfront Festival, SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival and Mississauga ITALFEST. Patti is excited to share Festival Co-Director duties for Jazz On Festivals with her husband Dave.
As Vice President at Influence Marketing, David has spent the past 15 years designing and executing exceptional events and sponsorship activations for clients across North America.
He has a passion for innovation, and is driven to produce results. Since joining Influence Marketing, David has been involved in the creation and delivery of over 250 events ranging from running and cycling, to urban adventures, to delivering the countries largest grassroots golf and ski programs. He has also sold and managed over $20 Million worth of sponsorship investments – delivering against client objectives, while adding financial stability for the events, and incremental value for the participants.
David has an intense passion for adventure – something that he attributes largely to growing up with 5 brothers – and for enjoying time with his family and friends.
David is a new addition to Jazz On Festivals, and is excited about the years ahead.
Nicole has spent the last ten years working in a variety of roles from stage and tour manager to artist relations and concert production manager.
Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick Nicole presently divides her time between Canada and New Zealand. With the marking of a 26km trail run event in a National Park in New Zealand now under her belt, a run that takes place in an area with active volcanoes, one can see Nicole enjoys the diversity and challenges of event life.
Deeply passionate about music, traveling and snowboarding, Nicole has been with JAZZ ON THE MOUNTAIN from the first concert in Whistler, British Columbia. After two years working with us from New Zealand she will be back at the festival, in person, this year.
Rachel is a Canadian composer with a focus on video and film composition. A native of Moncton, New Brunswick, and presently residing in Winnipeg, Rachel is a graduate of l’Universitè de Moncton, New Brunswick.
With a Master’s degree in Music Composition for the screen from Columbia College, Chicago, she studied under Grammy Award winning composer Andy Hill and two time Emmy-Award winning composer/arranger Hummie Mann.
As a young musician she traveled to China in 2007 with a youth orchestra which garnered a 2008 East Coast Music Award for the best classical recording of the year. As a member of ‘Team New Brunswick’ at the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon she worked with artists from every province and territory in Canada to produce the entertainment and closing gala ceremonies.
Rachel rejoins JAZZ ON THE MOUNTAIN AT BLUE and brings her considerable organizational and artist relationship management skills to the festival once again.
The Director of Marketing for the Canadian International Auto Show (Canada’s largest and most prestigious consumer show) for the past 20 years David is an entrepreneur with partnership/ownership in a variety of companies including ‘Plain + Simple, Chill Media Inc. and Star Child Design.
With 30 years of national/international marketing and event experience to bring to the event David is Joining JAZZ ON THE MOUNTAIN AT BLUE for his third year and remains a committed partner of the festival.
Principal at ‘Performance Visual Works Inc.’ an audio visual and show services company providing expertise in North America, Europe, and Asia for over twenty years.
Marc is passionate about music and has spent decades throughout his career working with all things related to the production and reproduction of live and recorded music.
Marc will be enjoying his third year at ‘JAZZ ON THE MOUNTAIN AT BLUE,’ and you will find him hosting artists and performers in the Master Classes while helping to keep everything on the festival stages running smoothly and on time.
After completion of her recording arts studies Joanne began her work at Montclair sound in Toronto. A full time certified English Riding coach she remains in the live music industry by coordinating music events from private functions to large scale annual city music festivals working in a diverse number of positions including Program Director, Stage Manager, Merchandise Manager and Festival administrator.
A Bass guitar and Euphonium player, presently performing with the Markham Concert Band, Joanne joins JAZZ ON THE MOUNTAIN AT BLUE once again for her third year with the Festival.
Andy is our Web Designer & Web Developer. Along with traditional IT issues, Andy is responsible for our website design and online presence.
Andy runs his own web design & web development business based in Essex – UK, where he specializes in the production of bespoke websites and web based systems.
